Who are Baptists for Israel ?

We believe Baptists who are for Israel would like to know that there are others who share their belief, and be able to encourage each other.

We would like to know who else is a Baptist for Israel. Please contact us.

We would value your opinions on how we can develop "Baptists for Israel" to draw us together and further God's work in the Body of Christ concerning this important area of doctrine.

Thus far we have collected together a small group and shared our E-mail contact details. We would be delighted to include you. This way we can enable Baptists who are for Israel to contact each other in a safe and secure way.

We could also use facebook, where there is a group called "Baptists 4 Israel - B4I". Register yourself on Facebook and let me know your name ( Contact us ) and I will make contact with you as a friend.

Contacts on our list could also contact each other using Skype.

Future Possibilities

We could send E-mail updates on Israel to those who wish to receive them. ( wildolive already offers this service)

We could encourage and inform Baptists with a vision for Israel so that they can most effectively share the vision and the blessing with others.

We could d emonstrate that there are sufficient Baptists who are for Israel to influence the Baptist position on Israel.

We could join together at events comforting God's people Israel (Isaiah 40 v1) and teaching and encouraging us.

We might even a rrange a Baptists for Israel trip to the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, including the Jerusalem March.

Signing up as a "Baptists for Israel" would not be a commitment to unquestioning support of every action of the Government of Israel.

A Baptist for Israel might subscribe to any or all of the following positions :-

Believes that Bible prophecies were fulfilled when Israel was regathered in the 20th Century and that the remaing prophecies are being and will be fulfilled by events still to come in Israel.

Believes that God has purposes yet to be fulfilled in and through Israel (land and people)

Is willing to hear the other side of all the anti Israel stories in the media, and even some Christian output.

We want to avoid pitfalls, particularly those causing division in our churches.
